We know how difficult it can be for writers to get their work in front of mainstream corporate publishers. We are committed to providing first-class service and experience to the multicultural and multilingual writers who trust us with their ideas. Our focus is on publishing works that showcase excellence in editorial quality, design, printing, and packaging. We believe in offering the best available opportunity and service to authors and their works that speak to us.

We love reading new and original creative works and are interested in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and memoir. We are seeking full-length manuscripts in English or translation. Interested authors can submit their manuscript to us as a PDF or word attachment: submissions@kulapress.com.au and kulapress@gmail.com

Please include the following information in your email:

• Subject line: YOUR NAME, TITLE, GENRE (fiction, non-fiction, memoir, etc.)
• A brief BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE including past publications (if any)
• 300-word SYNOPSIS of your book (NOT an open-ended blurb or pitch)
• Attach a double-spaced FIRST CHAPTER as a word document or PDF

Editorial decisions are usually taken within eight weeks of submission, though in the current post-COVID circumstances we cannot guarantee this timeframe. Should we like your proposal, we will ask to see further material to see the complete manuscript before taking a final decision. If we accept your manuscript, you will be formally notified, terms will then be agreed, and contracts signed.

Please note that due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual editorial advice on the submitted manuscript.
